1. Equipment Layout

This phase shows the layout of the restaurant’s grease waste system, including the cleanout, solids interceptor, grease interceptor, and sampling port. The proper sequence helps capture food solids and fats, oils, and grease (FOG) before wastewater is discharged to the public sewer.

Purpose: Provide an accessible, efficient, and code-compliant grease waste system designed for proper maintenance and regulatory compliance.

2. Rebar Layout & Preparation

After the grease interceptor was installed and connected, reinforcing steel was placed around the installation in preparation for the concrete restoration. The reinforcement provides structural support and helps protect the underground system from loads above.

Purpose: Provide a durable, reinforced surface over the completed grease interceptor installation.

3. Final inspection

The completed grease interceptor installation is inspected to verify proper installation, accessibility, and compliance with approved plans and applicable requirements before the project is closed out.

Purpose: Help ensure the system is ready for approval and the business can move forward with confidence.
